Vegan Chocolate Cookies - Loving It Vegan

How do baking cookies ever be quick? You usually must obtain a scale, then carefully measure all the ingredients, caress the dough to ages, cut out small cookies into heart, moon and star shapes then wait another century'til they're baked.

NEVER EVER would I bake cookies under these conditions. That is just not how I roll up. But I came across those Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies (that is what I call them, anyhow.)

Okay, they don't taste just like the cookies you receive round Christmas time. Rather they're a bit more gooey and don't crumble in any way.

But what largely convinced me was that you can have them prepared in 25 minutes including the baking time! No shit.

Probably the most surprising thing about the cookies is that they involve just 2 ingredients! Yep that's right, and anybody can combine two components.

Though if you would like to make them even tastier and/or fitter you can pimp them up using some add ons like raisins, walnuts or cinnamon. That is up to you!

It seems more and more like a sales pitch (it is not -- nobody is gonna pay me should you consume them), but I have to say yet another awesome thing about these cookies.

They are tasty! Yep, after I'd had the very first I finished the remainder inside one hour.

They are excellent for hiking trips or other occasions where you need a quick pleasant bite on the move. Now I keep these as a fast bite in my backpack.

It also has to be mentioned they're vegan. No eggs, no milk, no none of the usual cookie suspects. Just oats and bananas.

Health Benefits -- Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies

First I wanted to call them"Fitness Cookies" -- cause I feel these are the only really healthy cookies that have yet been produced by humanity*.

Take oats for example. Not only do they lower your cholesterol levels which subsequently will help you prevent developing heart disease or diabetes, but they also energize you with good carbohydrates and nutrients to keep you going for longer during the day.

Those nutrients contain manganese, good for bone creation and skin integrity as well as magnesium -- essential for energy generation to make you feel more awake

Same with bananas -- the favorite fruit one of athletes -- not just cause they contain a decent number of good carbohydrates but for being the huge players in the potassium game.

Potassium is a really important go to my blog nutrient for preventing fatigue and muscular cramps. Pretty good if you've got a hard day ahead of you.

Because you can see, I'm a huge fan.

Here is an example of if I could have done with a couple of those biscuits. Regrettably, I did not have them with me.

Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup rolled oats (oatmeal or porridge oats operate very nicely )

two tsp cinnamon

1 small handful raisins

1 small handful walnuts, crumbled

1 little handful sesame seeds, toasted

You can add pretty much whatever you like!

If you don't possess this make sure to wash the baking tray with butter (or olive oil if you are vegan)

To create the cookie shape only grab a spoon and garnish a decent amount from the mix onto the baking dish like I did in the photograph above. It is super quick and effortless.

Recipe Notes

EQUIPMENT: You just need a solid baking tray and a few parchment paper, trendy also.
